- Almost catching a fish.
- A bedroom full of school supplies waiting to be put in my new classroom.
- Friends to talk Harry Potter with over a long lunch.
- New chacos.
- God's timing. Otherwise we would not have found our home in Floyd or the sweet landlords we have.
- A job with a school system where the superintendent's secretary calls me to see if I've found a house to rent because she's been looking for me (and found one that will take our dog).
- Seeing a dear friend's genuine smile for the first time in years last weekend.
- Verizon wireless so we can have cell service in our new home.
- A house surrounded by gardens and a fence for Ikey.
