Saturday Morning Goodness

I was feeling sorry for myself last night. I am missing my brother's birthday celebration this weekend. And while Drew and I ate Mexican I was pretty pissy. Plus it was 9:00 p.m. and I hadn't eaten since 11:30 a.m. That never makes for a pleasant Meggie.

But today God is reminding me to focus what I am getting to do this weekend.

Saturday mornings are my favorite. It's the only day we can sleep in and lay in bed as long as we want. Today we remained there until about 10:00. While laying in bed I got a message from friends back home reminding me of some funny memories and my heart grew a little.

It's such a cozy place

The sun was shining (and still is). That makes my heart full.

While making breakfast I got a message from our dear friends in Arizona (who you can follow here) they will be welcoming sweet baby Kinsley this week and my heart swelled even more. A new miracle God is welcoming this week, I can't wait.

 

 

 

 

Another reason my heart grows this morning is that I have one more day to sit across the table from this handsome man.

 





Yes, that's my sweater drying on our dining room table during breakfast.


And one more day to fix this puppy more eggs than I fixed either Drew or me.

 

Thank you God for another day. Even though I may not be in the exact place I would like today. Happy Birthday to my favorite teenage boy. I love you more than you love minecraft and that is saying something people. 

 

 

I hope you all are having some amazing Saturday morningness as well. I ask that you all please pray for my newest and sweetest friend. She is a girl after God's own heart and I have no idea why she wants to be friends with me but she could use some prayers this week.
