Day 10: Mail Holder

Today is gonna be a quick one. Ike and I are headed out in a little bit, going on a mini-vaca to meet Drew for a couple days to Bluefield, WV. But don't worry I'm packing my supplies to update from the road.

This diy is cute, but I'll admit I'm ready to get on the road so I rushed it. That's why you won't see any close-ups of this mail-box.

Those are the supplies you'll need, my birds finally polished off the off-brand frosted mini wheats so I had the cereal box waiting on a crafty project.

Cut the tabs off of the top and make the front of the box lower than the back.

You're supposed to wrap the box like a gift....but with scrapbook paper I couldn't quite figure out how that was supposed to work. So I resorted to cutting my paper into strips to place on each side.

It is handy-dandy to have a place to put your mail because Drew and I often just lay ours on our dining table, this will help declutter. Rather than hanging mine on the fridge (I feel like my kitchen has been hogging all of my diy projects) I hung mine on the coat rack by the door. Perhaps not the most practical but a cute place nonetheless. I used a hole-punch and some string to hang it by. Especially since coat season is almost over, it may work a little better maybe until then I'll hang it on my coat closet door?.....

Definitely a useful little project, sorry it was so quick. Going to shower and hit the road. Looking forward to an easy but cute little diy tomorrow from Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.
