Day 8: Book Page Tags and Bookmarks

This was just the little project I needed to bring me out of my slump from yesterday. I love these little suckers! They are easy peasy and I'm so tickled with how they turned out.

That up there is what you'll need:

Book pages
Stamps & Stamp Pads
Scissors
Hole Punch
Pencil

and as I found out later:
card stock
glue

My stamps all came from Michael's and the book pages I ripped out of a book that Drew and I bought outside of Barnes & Noble for $1. Drew read about half of it and then told me I could have it, so no worries the book pages are not from anything groundbreaking.

As I got started I realized just how flimsy book pages are by themselves. So I found some of the card stock I had left over from Drew's graduation party invites, cut them to match and glued them to the back to make them sturdier.

Oh and I also did some more kid friendly tags again with leftovers from Drew's grad invites.

Drew had been pestering me for a while to make him a bookmark so he can stop using the tag off of my latest pair of jeans haha. So now he can use one of the tags made with the handsome horse stamp. And I believe I will take one of the bicycle one's for my new bookmark.

To be honest, I'm not sure what I will do with them all. Of course some I will use for gifts (but I don't buy that many gifts). I suppose you my readers could benefit from a couple so let me know if you need a bookmark or have a preference and I will send you one. I love them and heck maybe I'll even try to find a way to display them in a frame somehow...we shall see. Hope you enjoy.
