Day Four: Kitchen Menu

I just had this whole dang thing typed and then it wouldn't let me post it and it disappeared, arrghhh! Let's try again.

This was not the original craft I had planned for today but I just knew it would come in handy so I moved it up on my list. I am a meal planner, I plan out my meals for the coming weeks before I go to the grocery store so that I know exactly what I need. And until today the only system I had to keep them organized was to move their recipe cards to the front of my recipe box, not the best system. This seems much more effective, not to mention cute.

What you'll need:

Picture frame, scrapbook paper, dry-erase markers, foam letters and perhaps scissors if you need to cut down your paper. I purchased the frame and markers from Target and the paper and letters from Michael's. As with everything I post it's pretty simple. Cut down your paper and place it in the frame and then add your letters.

Probably the hardest part about this diy is choosing your menu. I really filled mine out so that it looks like I cook a lot (which I do) but not this much. I mean, after all, Drew and I are only 2 people if I cooked this much every week we wouldn't be able to fit through the door to our apartment. These are all meals I plan to fix but more realistically in a 2 week time frame, not one. But this way it looks a little more impressive haha.

I also added the Go Cats! because it is now March people, time to get serious.

I did a little two for one pinterest yesterday and made Pioneer Woman's recipe of Sesame Garlic Noodles, delish! You can google the recipe or find it on my FOOD! board on pinterest. It is super quick and easy. It may be a little difficult to find some of the ingredients in the grocery store but once you find them, if you can boil noodles, you're golden!

Done and done!

And your musical selection today is in memory of Davy Jones:

Day 5, here we come!
